it was all he could do just to keep a smile up around his friends. specs's constant nagging that left him feeling useless, bobble's irritating voice and cheery words that seemed to be saying the opposite in his head, headphones's perfection always putting him down by letting him know he would never be like her. he couldn't even be anywhere near "alright." goggles didn't even seem like goggles anymore.

Neo Agent 3 and the Splatoon had dealt with Mr. Grizz months ago, with the threat of the fuzzy ooze coming to an end and a peaceful era reigning over the world... or so it was believed.
