This is the second book from Atticus!
•••••••••••••••

If you lost the ability to do what you loved the most, what would you do? Give up? Keep trying?

Every time Holly tries to climb on her surfboard, she hopes that her balance will magically return. It doesn't. When she falls, it isn't the waves beating her up after that gives her chills. It's whatever is watching her in the water.

Holly grew up listening to the stories about sea monsters and half human devils. A part of her always accepted the possibility of the legends being real. That part of her comes to life when her small seaside town starts to change. It always feels like someone or something is watching her whether she is in the water or on land.

Maybe it has to do with that handsome stranger she keeps seeing. Every night she watches him go for a night swim but never resurface.

As the clouding mystery surrounding this man thickens, Holly decides to do the only thing her mind and heart is allowing her to do.

Solve the mystery of this stranger and confront him.

•••••••••••

This can be a stand alone book, but if you want the excitement and to understand some of the mystery, I recommend reading Atticus first.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

"I've been burned once, who is to say it will not happen again" I spoke quietly watching her closely. Grace confused me like no other she wormed her way into my heart with her easy-going smiles, kind nature, and gentle heart. Feeling her small hands hold my large ones I glance down into her green eyes "You need to trust that I am not Mia have I not proven to you Cassian, I am here to stay you fit with me" she said in a gentle yet firm tone. The smile she sent me held love, comfort and that was all it took after months of breaking down the walls I decided to take a leap of faith. *********************************************** Cassian Grey had been burned once and that was enough for him after sharing a business deal with his four other brothers they opened up The Grey Gull on the coast of Cornwall, England. A fresh start is what these guys needed and a fresh start is what they will get. Grace Bauer is an art historian with her own little gallery where she brings long-forgotten pieces of beauty back to life. She too had been burned so when she hears of this bar and grill opening up she knows her friends are just dying to try it out. What both of these souls don't realize is that once thrown in each other's paths they soon realize that maybe just maybe they are what the other half needs in one another. It may take a little more convincing on Cassian's part but can he take that leap of faith and trust Grace. The array of supernatural abilities being used, along with those men who harbor their powers, have her fighting no longer just for her own life, but for the lives of those she loves...and for the future of the entire human race. An unfolding enlightened discovery of love, courage, and power take her on a journey of body and mind, transcending her to a new world, and a new self that lay previously hidden to our species...until now. The world Dunamis introduces is filled with preternatural humans, who are brought to light in our own reality within a constructed understanding of quantum physics; their magic explained away by our advancement of science and consciousness. Dunamis means 'inherent power', the word has historically been used within the christian church to describe the power of God, but what if we could discover Dunamis within us? What powers can be unlocked from our own minds? Have witches already known this secret for centuries? If metaphysical magical realism is your thing, this novel will suck you right in. WELCOME TO DUNAMIS.
