This is the second book from Atticus!
•••••••••••••••

If you lost the ability to do what you loved the most, what would you do? Give up? Keep trying?

Every time Holly tries to climb on her surfboard, she hopes that her balance will magically return. It doesn't. When she falls, it isn't the waves beating her up after that gives her chills. It's whatever is watching her in the water.

Holly grew up listening to the stories about sea monsters and half human devils. A part of her always accepted the possibility of the legends being real. That part of her comes to life when her small seaside town starts to change. It always feels like someone or something is watching her whether she is in the water or on land.

Maybe it has to do with that handsome stranger she keeps seeing. Every night she watches him go for a night swim but never resurface.

As the clouding mystery surrounding this man thickens, Holly decides to do the only thing her mind and heart is allowing her to do.

Solve the mystery of this stranger and confront him.

This can be a stand alone book, but if you want the excitement and to understand some of the mystery, I recommend reading Atticus first.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

The Edge Of Us

6 parts Ongoing

At just ten years old, Adessa Brooks was Byron Bay's youngest and most successful surfer. Surfing was her whole world, and all she dreamed of was becoming even more famous than she already was, being known for something grant, something just for her. But one reckless leap-off a dangerous cliff-changed everything she ever loved. Now, at 17, Adessa's life looks nothing like she imagined, how she used to be. The ocean she once loved now fills her with fear, and she's lost the only thing that gave her purpose. Struggling to move forward, Adessa has no idea who she is without surfing. Taj Cove, on the other hand, has always been easygoing. Surfing and working out were all he needed to stay happy. But when his parents divorce, his life is turned upside down. Forced to move from his home in California where he was loved by everyone to the quiet town of Byron Bay, all Taj can think about is fixing his family and finding a way back to the life he loved. When Adessa and Taj cross paths under circumstances, sparks fly-and not the good kind. They clash at every turn, but somehow, they keep getting thrown together. As they navigate their own struggles, they might just find something they didn't know they needed: each other. But to move forward, they'll have to face their fears, their pasts, and the waves of life that keep pushing them back.
