Sometimes your heart needs more time to accept what your mind already knows.

This is the story of Aranv and Khushi who were only meant to be passengers on a short journey but when someone they both love more than anything comes in between them and change their journey, what choice do they have?

Arnav, father of a 3-year-old girl finds the best nanny one could ask for.
Khushi, a final year Child Phycology student finds the best job in the world.

He is introverted when she is extrovert,
He is short-tempered when she is soft-spoken,
He is unreasonable when she is being reasonable,
He is irrational when she is rational,
He has a heart full of hatred and anger while she has a heart full of love and empathy
He believes in revenge and she believes in forgiveness,
He hates love and she loves love,
But the common thing they both have is their affection for Arnav's 3-year-old Sifu.

For Khushi, it was only a job. She loved kids, Sifu is an amazing kid and her handsome devil of a boss is hardly home so Khushi had nothing to fear.

But what happens when Arnav starts to spend more time at home? Khushi knew she is attracted to her ruthless boss.

For Arnav, she was a nanny for his baby girl. She was professional and she loved Sifu as her own. Sifu loved being around Khushi so what's the problem?

The problem started when he also enjoyed being around Khushi.

Hello Readers! This was originally a Bepannaah/Adiya fanfic, but I am publishing this story as an Arshi fanfic as well. I hope this fandom enjoys this story just as much as Adiya fans did. Description: A marriage of convenience between Arnav and Kushi. A tragedy brought them together and both knew they can never love each other. But then why were they drawn to each other? Why couldn't they stop themselves from coming closer? See their relationship develop in this new love story. "Tum meri zindagi mein sukoon le ke ayi...lekin tum zaroorat kab ban gayi patha hi nahin chala..." DISCLAIMER: The concept is inspired from the movie Bewafa, so I take no credit for that. I also take no credit for the characters of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon or the pictures. HOWEVER, this story's development, the scenes, and the dialogues are mine. Any similarities to other works is purely coincidence. Any inspirations or references to other works...I will credit to at the end of chapters. This story will be in English, with some dialogues and lines in Hindi. Please forgive me for any grammatical mistakes as Hindi is not my first language. Plagiarism will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Remember, even "inspirations" require credit so please be respectful of my work just like I give credit to whoever I am inspired by. Lastly, please let me know if you like this story. I love reading comments. Feedback is always welcome, as long as you keep it constructive. Thank you so much for giving this story a chance! I'm hoping to connect with Arshi fans through this story.

The day meant to be the best day of her life had turned out to be the worst one. Celebration of love and harmony, which the night was supposed to be, ended up as the witness to bloodshed and hatred. With the stench of corpses choking her and the sight of mutilated bodies shattering her, Khushi stood benumbed, decked up in exquisite bridal finery, and the signs of a newly married woman shining brightly against her paled demeanor and the blood which had splayed against her; the blood of her own, maybe of her own father. Her father's lifeless body was strewn across several others and her mother's breathing yet lost body hovered over his; her hollow and teary eyes pleading him to rise and embrace her but her efforts were in vain. But that was not the only agony killing her from inside. The affliction of betrayal, from her own husband, on the wedding day, after reiteration of his love from the passionate ministrations on their first night together, felt like the worst nightmare coming true. From the pieces of her broken heart, the resolve to avenge arose and Khushi Gupta was not the one to let her heart's desire be unheard. Deceit for a deceit, eye for an eye, heart for a heart, so what if the world ends or goes blind? After all, all is fair in love and war and Arnav Singh Raizada had turned her love into the inspiration for a bloody war. ~Stab the body and it heals, but injure the heart and the wound will last for a lifetime.~ Banner: @KoeliDalmiya
