L/n Y/n, the Spirit Hashira, comes from a household with a long history of demon slayer that uses Spirit Breathing. Being one of the few Hashiras who have mastered the last form of all breathing types, Nagi (Dead calm) which requires physical strength as with all other forms, but also peace of the mind, the Master tasks her to help Giyu to reach his own inner peace to learn Nagi.

Through the process of finding his inner peace to truly master all forms of Water Breathing, Y/n is with Giyu at every step. Y/n starts to learn about the Water Hashira more than she ever thought she would. As they go through their ups and downs, she seems to befriend Giyu, perhaps more than normal friendship would be like. 

*In the original, Giyu already uses it and is specific to water breathing only but in this story I'm just making this up 😅 Also I am still reading the mangas of what would be the second season in the anime, so please don't spoil in the comments! + cover is not mine
