This short story is a precursor to other writings to come. Essentially, I'm using my experience from writing this as a springboard for future planned projects. Sidenote: this project was originally drafted in Google Docs. For some reason, when copying over to Wattpad, Wattpad converts all the em dashes to regular hyphens. Be on the lookout for that, as it completely slaughters the meaning of certain sentences and phrases which use em dashes.
