A mystery is brewing in 1947 Hollywood. Toontown has felt peace since the demise of Judge Doom, and private eye Eddie Valiant has been heralded the hero, successfully exonerating famed toon, Roger Rabbit. But Eddie's gain is a loss for three would-be private investigators named Moe, Larry, and Curly (better known as "The Three Stooges"). Starting from rock bottom, the Stooges are soon called to action when bizarre murders - both human and toon - occur, and Eddie Valiant seems to be one of the targets. Can the Stooges be the heroes of this new mystery that's befallen Toontown?All Rights Reserved

Evil never wins, when there's a "genius" cop on the case! A golden-haired movie producer's wife has been killed in Los Angeles, California and Lieutenant Brock Cinder is on the case. A cop's cop, Brock's a lone wolf and the envy of all in his department. But the tough cop with flair has been wounded by a life event. Will such baggage--that burdens his heart to this day--help him to solve this crime, or--together with what he sees at this roadkill--encourage him to quit the force and turn his back on catching killers? (*Fun fact: Rather than use the traditional "Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc., headers--for each "cliffhanger break" in the following story--I chose, instead, to go with more "nostalgic" headers [i.e., "Tonight's Episode, Act I, Act II," etc., and "Epilogue"], since that style had been a similar case in classic Quinn Martin Productions like the following three television cop/crime series: "The Streets of San Francisco" [ https://youtu.be/SLec8xEG8xE ], "Barnaby Jones" [ https://youtu.be/bkx2jWGZVJU ], and "Cannon" [ https://youtu.be/eIfdD191II4 ]. Pulling my phone out, I checked the Caller ID. It was a number not saved in my phone but it was also a Minnesota number, someone from back home. Cautiously, I answered the phone. "Hello?" When the pilot's daughter crash-lands on a desert island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, all she wants to do is survive long enough to get rescued. After all, being the only girl on the island with a bunch of school boys and choir boys is no way to spend one's time. Except maybe with the elected chief, Ralph, the intellect, Piggy, the quiet friend and sage, Simon, and the littluns. What she wants most, though, is to keep away from that damn Jack Merridew, who's the most arrogant and annoying boy she's ever met and has some rather questionable friends. But as sparks start to fly between the two of them, the island starts to get more dangerous. Littluns whisper of a "snake-thing" in the woods, and the boys start to lose their grip on sanity and civilization. In the midst of all this, will she stay with the civilization she knows and lose the boy she loves, or stay with the boy she loves and lose the civilization she knows? Note: I will probably go back and edit as needed even when the story is completed.
