Elara Dowling is the 15 year old daughter of Farah Dowling. 

Elara's best friend is Terra, they've been best friends since they were babies, considering their parents worked together. 

Elara's a first year at Alfea, she expected a calm year but she got the exact opposite of that. Everything is going to hell, burned ones infiltrate the barrier, Rosalind escapes her prison, and Elara catches feelings for the most unlikely person. 

Elara is a mind fairy, but she has control over all the elements as well, which is very rare for a fairy. Especially a fairy that young
