Sabrina and Tessa were in the Sokovia research facility with Pietro and Wanda. They were all close to each other and all had powers. 

In 2012 after ULTRON, The avengers take the four to the compound to make them avengers. Tessa has had a crush on someone for the longest time, Sabrina would always listen to her rambles about him until they got back from their first mission... 

Sabrina starts flirting with Tessa's crush, who was Pietro and starts ignoring Tessa, Sabrina full on betrays Tessa and slowly becomes Tessa's enemy over time. 

Everyone Tessa loves betrays or leaves her. It never stops. 
With Tessa's struggles on night terrors and ptsd from her brothers death, she stops focusing on Sabrina and Pietro. She tries to get past her terrifying mind.

This universe is a bit different from the one we all know and love. In this particular universe, Pietro does get shot in Sokovia, but he doesn't die. He does however, lose his ability to run or use his speed in any useful way. He can't be an Avenger, but he does his best to do what he can to help. The other Avengers don't noticed how hard he tries, but Loki sure does. She was living a happy life until her older brother lost control of his powers and Blew her Family's car in a road trip. She survived because she were able to run out, but she couldn't save her family. She has been living alone ever since with the money her parents have saved up and hid in her basement. She has several different powers.
