"We weren't aware you were dropping by this early" Draco leaned back in his chair, amused.

Blaise glared at them as he refilled his glass. "And I wasn't aware I had a bloody sister until now"

~

The Zabini Family, pureblooded, wealthy and happy. The family of 4 had no faults until they'd split. The Mother, Josephine Zabini, took their son, Blaise Zabini while the Father, Marcellus Zabini, took their daughter, Hermione.

The two siblings, twins, lived without knowing the other existed... until very recently.

Each lived a different life, had different friends, and different thoughts, yet blood is not the only thing they come to share after Hermione finds herself in a difficult situation.

Breathing out, Hermione took his hand and said, "Valet in lucem." Draco wrinkled his nose, looking up at her confused. "Was that an insult?" Hermione rolled her eyes. "No Draco, it's an old saying in Latin." "Well I don't speak Latin 'Mione." She huffed. "I said, Light Prevails Malfoy, because it always does." Hermione thought he might try to argue with her again, make her red in the face with anger but Draco paused when he opened his mouth. She waited in anticipation. His features seemed to soften a little as he stared at the ground. When his eyes came back up to meet her, she thought she might get lost in his gaze. "Light prevails." Leaning in slowly, Draco kissed her on the lips and Hermionie pulled him in. -x- Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger are far from friends, they're barely even acquaintances and if the two of them had their way, they would not be spending their final year at Hogwarts as Head Boy and Head Girl together. But as fate would have it, or rather McGonagoll, they are the top picks to keep the students at Hogwarts in check and out of harms way. Though the two of them might have something to say about that. Regardless, both Draco and Hermione accept their positions and try to move on from their old rivalry, close old wounds, and try to form some sort of friendship. But sometimes the past can't stay buried and old grudges die hard and despite not having to defeat a Dark Lord, their seventh year at Hogwarts may prove to be the hardest one yet.
