When Cyan woke up that morning, he'd expected to have the same mundane day as he had the day before, and the day before that. Wake up, eat breakfast, jog to the Tree of Life for training, and go back home a few hours before dinner. But as soon as he glanced out the window and saw the horror unfurling outside, he knew his day would be anything but drab.

If anything, it'd be an absolute apocalypse.

Nothing special." ------------------ Paradise has been a calm place for almost 10 years since the 2nd Corruption. But that's soon about to change, and the only shape capable of preventing that is oblivious towards his role in society. A demon-like shape who goes by Blixter then proclaims himself a king and Corrupts the quaint lands once again. Cyan, who is just a square in a bandanna, has the fate of his home on his shoulders, and the friends and family he has depends on him. If Cyan can't triumph through this trial, things arent going to be very nice.

Thump - a faint vibration in the earth followed a gust of wind. Four dinosaur-foot-shaped depressions appeared in the grass. Further away, past the depressions, goal posts and trees blurred as if hidden behind slightly translucent glass. Then, it wasn't so translucent. A shape solidified from thin air, slowly, condensing into a shimmering mist. The legs came first, trunks like small trees reaching up to muscular shoulders, perhaps twice his height. The body manifested, enormous, easily the length of a full-sized bus from tail tip to chest. Wings came into view, curling around the body at a distance, like a webbed exoskeleton growing in time lapse. Finally, the head appeared - horns and nostrils and teeth like daggers - connected to the chest by a long neck. It wore silver like a second skin, as if coated in polished scalemail - everything except its spines, claws and other bony protrusions. Like a broken mirror, it reflected the moon and stars. All in all, it was a nightmarish beast, one that in no way, shape or form resembled Wren...or any human for that matter. He took a step back. *** Elias, a professional thief, trains a strange girl named Wren. What will happen when he learns she's attracted to him and when he discovers she can transform into a dragon? What will happen if she ever reveals her darkest secret?

"Cold metal was the first thing that I felt against my skin. Then came the sensation of being strapped down by my wrists and ankles. Why was I strapped down? My eyes blinked open slowly, in a daze. I saw men and women in surgical gear running around wildly. The blare of alarm pierced the fog around my mind and I saw emergency lights flashing. What was happening? I saw a woman, her brown eyes wild with fear, undo the straps on my wrists and legs. My head fell to the side and I witnessed one man pounce on the other, then a squirt of blood shoot high into the air as the first man bit into the others neck. I couldn't move without serious concentration, and even then, I could only move a little. I was helpless as I lay on this metal table. I knew that I was going to die. I was an easy target. I closed my eyes, waiting for the inevibility of the man to attack me. Nothing came though, and when I cracked my eyes open, I was alone in the room. What? Just then, I heard a loud bang and I saw a man with a gun burst through the door, an infected woman, the one who had just untied me, leaping at him. They fell into the table I was on, and the entire thing flipped. I was tossed onto the ground, landing hard. My head cracked against the concrete and everything went black, and the last sound I heard were the man's screams."

My foot steps where light trying not to make any noises for whoever could be in here, I made it to the end of the hall and took a deep breath before popping out from my spot ready to shoot but nobody appeared, everything was normal causing my body and mind to instantly relax. "Oh thank god" I rub my head and laugh to myself. I shook my head feeling silly walking into the living room seeing the view of New York buildings and sky scrapers through the big window feeling content with everything. I let out a deep breath and once I relaxed getting enough of looking outside I turned around and jumped, frozen in my spot not moving a limb terrified seeing a figure standing in front of me with a strong scent of weed and cologne putting their hand to my jaw dragging their cold thick thumb across my bottom lip before smirking getting closer to my face feeling their breath in my face. "Daddy's home..."

A Jsab story that is an alternate universe of an existing world of mine, also based off of "The Pink Corruption" YouTube series (LucasTheDubber) in a sense (it is not set in that realm however) It is written by me, Kiwi-Veemo, and Inking 5 in said order. Long ago, heroes defended the world. One of those heroes was the blue square everyone is familiar with. However, years have passed, and since then, they have retired now that the villains have not shown up within the years. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. When corruption starts up again, and heroes are needed, who will come to the rescue? The answer lies in a group of shapes with nothing in common, all with different backgrounds. Can they work together just this once to defeat the evil once more? ----- Side note: This story was made in 2019 so that's why it looks kinda bad. I was mostly waiting on others for their parts, and things got busy with me so writing the boss chapters also took a long time. If you want better examples of my writing, I am working on things elsewhere. This work is partially a "No beta we perish like the corruption" kinda thing
