Everyone knows Zenith, but nobody knows how the band managed to rock Zerkovkia's youth into starting a revolution... until now.

Tolya Viktov is coming of age in the 1980s to the tune of spinning records, cheap liquor, and Zerkovkia's nine year war with neighboring Blivdova. The perms and denim jackets are hip, but it's the underground music he's most excited about. By the time he enters university, his lyrics and his talent have helped him break through on the student musician scene.

Tolya, a duo of genius guitarists, and a bandless drummer soon come together when a producer realizes the key to achieving radical change in Zerkovkia is getting them to make music. What happens next is the stuff of legend and a whole lot of love, revolution, and rock and roll.

A band. A bond to last a lifetime. The summer before their senior year, and Nick's freshman year of college, everything changes when Nick suddenly overdoses without warning. Now, the three of them are forced to rebuild themselves. Their loyalty to the band, themselves, and music is tested with the arrival of their new drummer as they all struggle with their own personal challenges. Will they be able to pull through? Will they be able to listen to their souls, themselves, without all the extra noise and pressure of the world around them? TW: This story contains mature themes, including: mentions of self-harm, suicide, non-sexual nudity, guilt, grief, loss, depression, alcoholism, neglect, body dysmorphia, smoking, Christianity, and underage drinking. He even picked up drums and electric guitar, of course only playing when he was at his best friend's apartment due to his abusive father not allowing any of that stuff in his home. Surprisingly he had a crush on someone. Someone who's practically the opposite of him. Meanwhile, 17 year old Bruce Yamada is in the top orchestra, along with the top of his class, on violin. He's sorta into classical music, but never really listened to it outside of class and practice. Concerts always gave him a kick of energy, but after a while he wanted more, and his girlfriend was no help. She was plain, kinda boring, and was a goody-two shoes like Bruce.
