Jade Ford is a freshman in college but she isn't interested in joining any groups or going out to party. She just wants to focus on her studies. She sooner she graduates, the sooner she can get out of this town and start pursuing her dreams. She is so tired of all the looks she gets for being an emo girl but that's just how she is and she isn't going to change for anyone. Despite all the hard times she endures, she has one good thing that helps her, her secret online pal. She doesn't know who it is and they don't know who she is. No personal information has been given and if she is honest, she doesn't know if she ever will give her information. She doesn't think she could bear the rejection if they found out who she is. Besides as many crime shows she's binged, she doesn't want to end up another serial killer victim. This friendship is better off in cyberspace....right???
