The Zone. Such a hostile environment. Radiation, dangerous mutants, mysterious anomalies and artifacts that dare defy the most basic laws of physics and logic. Numerous stories about an entity deep within the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, whom will grant any wish you request.
It may sound crazy that people live in an environment like this, yet they do.

Numerous factions reside in this post-apocaliptic wasteland, all with different purposes and points of view. Some wish to simply destroy it, while others want to embrace it. Some want to foolishly control it, others just want to study it.
Then there's the ones who attempt to make profit from it, which are the majority of residents in The Zone, which are known as "Stalkers."
And this is the story of two Stalkers. 

An Ecologist by the name of Yuri "Oddball", former member of the Duty faction, tired of their concept of destroying The Zone, now wishing to study it... And to kill mutants under the name of science.
And a Loner by the name of Gabriel "Stabber", a former soldier, tired of the constant corruption of the military, decided to desert and join the Free Stalkers. Due to him being part of the military, he will have to earn some trust among his new faction... Not alone, obviusly.

Little did these two know, their adventure would be very different from a regular Stalker...

He cares about nedakova. During the night he always goes insane to kill people but not his friends. The chill spiders are chill people with members of 3 Raya is a Bulgarian female who escaped from her abusers to find somewhere to stay for a while Jamie is the leader of the chill spiders and he, raya and gabriel are always together no matter what! They don't mind getting new members as long it doesn't ruin their friendship. Gabriel the guy that knows information, used to be in the manipulative group but was kicked out.

The Zone: Life and Death by Psynexus

Yuriy, a man born in a small Ukrainian town outside of the 30km Zone of Alienation around the site of the Chernobyl disaster struggles to support his family as the growth of the Zone's borders threaten the stability of the area and more. Reports of fence-hoppers known as Stalkers (Scavenger, Trespasser, Adventurer, Loner, Killer, Explorer, Robber) seeking wealth, adventure or asylum within inspire him to risk everything in pursuit of the money his family desperately needs. But with the promise of wealth and adventure also come rumors of environmental anomolies that defy the laws of physics and deadly mutants with terrifying properties. Yuriy must make his way to the Zone, evading military patrols along the border of the ecological disaster zone, steer clear of anomalies able to crush an APC to the size of a tin can or reduce a man to fragments with explosive force, and establish himself in one of the several factions observing loose alliances or vendettas with each other as they further their own goals in the Zone. Along the way, Virtue makes some friends and enemies while experiencing the horrors of the Zone first-hand. While on a mission, his team and him discover disturbing evidence that sheds new life on the supposed accidental explosion in Reactor 4 of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. They decide to take matters into their own hands and make for the inaccessible center of the Zone to uncover the truth behind what really happened and discover the origin of the Zone.

Now he's set to fight those spandex wearing bozos' bosses and unveil just how rotten this Hero centric Society really is. He will show them all what a Hero truly is like. What he and his comrades didn't know was their was a portal there and they accidently activated it send Sgt. Stonks into another universe. How will he proceed and what is he to do?

The being wasn't like other's any of them had seen. They wanted to know how it was possible in the world that was nothing but desert, and infection. 0-Sa was also alone, which was unusual for the species. The Irinaut became valuable quite quickly, having found no spore infection visibly on him. The team had one job, obtain and return the creature alive, but they would soon come to find out that the cargo would be more difficult to transport than they thought. This is my fanfic of the PC game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. It's an excellent game based on the Strugatsky brother's novel 'Roadside Picnic'. This novel was the first to made me realise that aliens would be so...well...alien, that we wouldn't be unable to understand anything about them, not even their waste! The game differs from the book. Among other differences, it is based on the fallout zone of the Chernobyl reactor and the city of Pripeyat a. I wrote this for a contest and I won a copy of the game, personally signed by the entire development team! This is the story of Oleg and leonid, Stalkers. One is ambitious and will stop at nothing to gain control of his faction and the other a traumatised outcast on a never ending search for his lost sister. Both quests collide in the twisted and dangerous area called the Zone, a region that defies human understanding.
