Scott calls Stiles to update him on what all happened; that the Nogitsune escaped thanks to Harris. Harris! Their freaking chemistry teacher who hated their guts - mostly Stiles'. 

Allison came back Void and remembered nothing, only that she must kill werewolves. (Specifically Derek). But to not worry because Lydia screamed and it gave her the memories she had lost. 

Scott told Stiles how Derek Hale sacrificed himself to save not only the pack but his son as well. Who knew Derek had a son? Definitely not him. The Nogitsune is dead once and for all. He would never hurt anyone ever again. 

Stiles races back home, he can't lose Derek, Eli can't lose Derek. Stiles will bring the wolf back even if he dies trying.

For me you can't do a Teen Wolf Movie about the Nogitsune and Allison's return without Stiles being present, so here is my version of how this should have played out Character rights, plot(minus my twist on it) and locations to the brilliant mind of Jeff Davis

One Night by 56QueenBee

Derek. Derek and all his broody, dark, alpha werewolf-ness, and control. Stiles and his calm-not-so-calm demeanor, snarky sarcasm, and knowledge. One slip up, on one night, can change a lot of things between the two when an alpha pack strolls into town. Doesn't really follow the original story line -Boy X Boy -sterek, scisaac (sorta) -cursing, blood, death, -mature descriptions ⚠️Not my characters. - after they attack alpha pack at old mall - Derek tries to find stiles at school and instead finds Jenifer who he is only then meeting - stiles gets the call from Scott that Derek is dead and he freaks out (while he was driving so he pulls over and ends up, punching a steering wheel until his fist bleeds) - Stiles, Scott, Lydia, Allison, Danny , Ethan, etc. I'll still go on the trip in the bus - when they return and meet Derek again, styles jumps into a hug

A single choice changes the whole story. Stiles moved away from the flashlights and cadaver dogs as he wasn't necessarily excited to get caught by his father. He had gone the exact opposite direction of the barking and beams of light and now he was lost somewhere in the woods with Scott, his asthmatic best friend beside him. who was taking a puff from his inhaler for every third step and it was irritating to say the least. It felt like they had been wandering around for a long time, when they came across a gigantic wolf. It could have been the sighting of a Wolf in California for the first time in 60 years. He could have taken a pic to prove it but the wolf seemed to hate the idea. So they ran. They ran while bleeding from it's bites. After the Nogitsune, Stiles suffers alone and quietly. He doesn't talk, eat, or sleep, and nobody really notices, especially Scott. He is ignored, pushed out of the pack, and barely hanging on. Then CreeperWolf (™ pending) stops in his house with a sandwich, and stays. Derek and Ethan text him weekly, as do Chris and Isaac, and he somehow talks to Jackson Whittemore (Jackson freaking Whittemore!) everyday. He also snuggles with Jackson everyday, and occasionally kisses him, but nobody really needs to know that. Eventually, two more kids that have only ever been hurt come in the pack, and oddly enough, they get along. Theo is traumatized from one of the 'big bads' and Liam has never not been judged for his IED. He finds a pack of lonely, hurt, and cruel people. And somehow, everything starts to turn out alright.
