Though one evil portal master by the name Kaos has had enough of being defeated by the Skylanders, he decided to go into the past and change Master Don't mind about ever creating the Skylanders Academy, though a certain few of them recall memories that were supposed to happen in their now different past. Once they band together, they find a way to fix what Kaos has done.

But their time travel has caused something to change which causes the butterfly effect to change the future of their Skylanders' past. Now it's up to them to fix the future before they disappear and will no longer exist in a new timeline.
