Once they get out of the hospital, they meet up again with Ezra and Hazel, who quickly become their friends. However, they also run into Lexie and Kayla, their former friends who caused them to attempt suicide. Meanwhile, Robin is trying to cope with their parents, who are recovering from being quite abusive to them as well. In the end, Robin learns valuable lessons about friendship, life, family, and love.
