This is the story of two Dragon Slayers, one a iron dragon slayer, and the other a fairy dragon slayer.

Amity Heartfilia, a 1st generation Fairy Dragon Slayer, was seven years old when she ran away from home with her twin sister knowing about it, taken in by the queen of the Fairy Dragons known as Faye. Seven years later on July 7th, X777, Faye disappeared, leaving Amity to find people who will help her get stronger so that she can prevent others from suffering the way she did.

Gajeel Redfox, a 1st generation Iron Dragon Slayer, was in the same situation as Amity. Metalicana, his adopted father and an iron dragon, disappeared on July 7th, X777 for reasons unknown. When Gajeel found out about this, he was determined to find ways to get stronger.

Will Amity Heartfilia manage to love Gajeel Redfox for who he is? Will Gajeel admit that he has feelings for Amity? Will Gajeel and Amity be together or will Levy get in the way of their love? What will happen between the two of them?
