Gerard is a jack of all trades related to the battlefield. His brother is a chemist and gray mage with a connection to the planet. One night a little girl, with a pet bird, breaks into their house looking for food and a legendary knight named the Kingfisher. 

As if it can't get any stranger, Gerard comes back in touch with who he was once, and a new adventure with trails of old times presents itself. Later, it turns out the planet itself is involved too.
