My boat thrashed me left and right, leaving me helpless. I tried to grab onto the side bars. Lightning struck again into the dark water. I screamed. I wanted my dad, my friends, anyone. Save me! My ship cracked in half, and one part fell onto me, pushing me down. Deeper, darker, colder. It was so cold. Water filled my lungs. I lost my breath, and my struggling stopped. I closed my eyes... 

but I felt so different. Yet I was only 16.
