After her long-time boyfriend cheats on her for no reason, Delia Evans believes that her already shitty life cannot get any worse. But things do take a positive turn, when she meets a shy but sweet Ghost-hunter, Stephen "Specs" Fisher. The two become close as Delia becomes very interested in his job, but isn't careful of its repercussions when attempting to contact her deceased father on her own.
From there, things take a dark turn as Delia is constantly tormented by an evil, vengeful spirit.
She can now count on Specs, Tucker and Elise to help her send this demon back to The Further, never to hurt her again. Specs has never grown this close to a client before, and the two must navigate their feelings for one another in the midst of all the chaos...

Elias "Eli" Vesper was just another young man trying to survive in a world overrun by demons-until the night he became their prey. Brutally killed in the streets, his throat torn out, he should have died. Instead, he wakes up strapped to a steel table in a dark, sterile room, unable to move as a surgeon stitches the gaping wound in his abdomen. He can't feel his heartbeat. He can't scream. But he can hear them. "Organ transplant." "Skin grafts." "Cellular regeneration." By the time he sees his reflection-a single discolored eye staring back, horns curling from his skull, a tail twitching at his back-he realizes the truth. He's become the thing he despises the most. A demon. And not just any demon-a predator stronger, faster, and more lethal than the creatures he once feared. Locked away in a padded cell, studied like an experiment, and stripped of his name, Eli is given a new identity: Nyxas. A weapon. A monster. A prisoner of the Sentinel Division, the secret organization that hunts demons in the name of humanity. But when he finally breaks free, his rampage through the city leaves blood in his wake, drawing the attention of the very agency that created him. Captured once again, Nyxas is given a choice: hunt demons for the agency, or be destroyed like one. Chained, watched, and barely trusted, he is forced into the field under the command of his relentless handler, Whitlock, and a team that sees him as nothing more than a ticking time bomb. But as he fights the creatures he was made to resemble, he begins uncovering the truth-the Sentinel Division has been lying for years. The demons didn't come from nowhere. They were created. And if the agency made them... they can make more. Now, Nyxas is faced with an impossible choice: continue hunting the monsters in the shadows, or tear down the organization that turned him into one. But if he's not human anymore, does humanity even deserve to be saved?

My name is Aeris Thorne. I am a genetically modified human. And I'm in serious danger. PAINFUL SECRETS STARTLING TRUTHS. UNDENIABLE LOVE. All it took was a chance meeting--one tingling glance across a darkened street to change my life. I'd been searching for my two best friends in the crowded Zenith Club, which was a really bad idea because I'm totally claustrophobic. I burst outside. That's when I came face-to-face with Hunter Cayman. Dark-haired, tall, and leaning against an insane sports car, my pulse went haywire. The young doctor had his long muscular arms crossed over his leather jacket clad chest, and all his six-foot something would make any girl's knees turn weak. But then, if what Ella said was true, Hunter was the kind of guy who left behind a trail of broken hearts. And heartache was the last thing I needed right now. Yet there's something strange, something almost superhuman about Hunter. It's more than that infuriatingly knowing grin. I'm trying to stop thinking about him, and I get the feeling he's avoiding me, too. Yet Deep Cove is a tiny town and every time we run into each other the tension literally crackles, sparking around us. It just figures that when suddenly I'm in danger, he's there to save me. In truth, I should be dead. I should be shattered to pieces. How fast was I going on that ATV when I smashed into those iron gates? Ninety? A hundred? And the men who were chasing me, where did they go? Somehow I'm whole. Maybe better than whole. There's no one I can talk to, not even my best friend, Gage. Gage hates Hunter. He wants Hunter's laboratory to be shut down. He thinks Hunter's a monster. And yet, if that's true, if Hunter's a monster...than what am I? I'm not sure what terrifies me more, the metamorphosis taking place inside me, or the intensely powerful connection with a guy whose heart and soul has become linked with mine.
