Andrea and Lucifer Morningstar are the original fallen angel's who got dissatisfied with their life in hell so they abandoned their thrones and retired to Los Angeles. 

Lucifer indulges in his favourite things(women, wine and songs) until a murder takes place outside of his upscale nightclub where he meets homocide detective Chloe Decker while Andrea joins LAPD Metro SWAT, becoming the second female teammate on Hondo's team and falling for a guy named James 'Jim' Street who is the newest recruit to SWAT, transferred from the Long Beach Police Department. 

Suddenly, Andrea and Lucifer start to wonder if there is hope for their souls.
