(This is the sequel to my story, Six Years Too Long. You'll need to read that first to understand this one!)

Six years after Minato Namikaze rose from the dead, Naruto's graduated the academy with a field of flowers in his mind and the best friends he could've ever asked for. Everything seems like it's going well... until it's not. Conspiracies within the village are keeping Minato on his toes, and Naruto's goal of world peace only seems to get further and further away from him as the Akatsuki stir and start to raise their heads. There are unknown enemies lurking around every corner, and it's up to Naruto and Kurama to stop them-- and who knows, maybe they'll have a little help when they do. 

(In the distance, the remnants of Uzu call, getting louder and louder each day. Naruto doesn't know what it means for him or for the rest of Team 7, but as the pull gets stronger and stronger, he has a feeling he's going to find out.)

The Fourth Hokage's body was never found, but they never suspected that was because he hadn't died. Minato Namikaze wakes up six years after the devastating Kyuubi attack, alone in an overgrown clearing with not a scratch on him. Disoriented and confused, he does exactly what any father would do in this situation. He fights through the pain, gets up, and goes to find his son. He trudges through the pounding in his head and forces himself to move-- to go and find him, because that masked man was still out there, and Minato is willing to do anything to protect his little ball of sunshine. Needless to say, the blonde kage wasn't expecting so much time to have passed. Nor is he very impressed with the way the village has been treating his son all these years.

It wasn't perfect but it was good. And during all of that Kakashi greatest wish had become true. He had been finally reunited with his students, his family. But what happens when an enemy rises again? One they had thought of being gone a long time ago? Decisions have to be made, morals have to be betrayed and old wounds have to be opened again. It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. Although, with all of the fear Setsuko has always bottled up inside of her, it would sound much easier to befriend her than to actually be able to do it.
