After Claude de Alger Obelia succeed in usurped the throne from his brother, Anastacius, he married his best friend, Lady Ultear Milkovich who is the daughter of a knight and the only female knight in Obelia. The couple has a son which was named Asher Seraphiel de Alger Obelia. But not long after Asher's birth, assassin come and kill Empress Ultear and was even attempting to kill the young crown prince. Claude thought that he has come late and that both his wife and son has been killed, but imagine his surprise to see that his son was alive and he make a promise on his wife's cold body that he will treasured and love their son twice as much. 

Crown Prince, Asher de Alger Obelia grow up without mother's love, but he has all the love from his father and Claude become very protective to his son and will not let anything happen to him as he is the treasured son and crown prince of Obelian Empire.

Ambrose rode a ferry to the neighboring continent and took some important items with him that his older sister told him to take care of.
