Kaiyennah has lived her whole life in the misty woods of Väria. The young girl and her loyal panther Vespeera know the dangers that lurk in their world, but nothing prepares them for discovering three strange children with mysterious powers and mythical creature companions, held captive by fierce beastmen.

According to an ancient prophecy, Kaiyennah is destined to lead these children to Fulgaria, the land of giants, to find a Wind Whisperer who can create magical amulets allowing them to understand each other. But reaching their destination means crossing the perilous landscape of Ngaherahe, with relentless beastmen hunting their every move.
