(Ramattra x reader.) • I feel the cool tip press against my chin, tilting my head upwards where I could recognize the feeling of wood smooth against my skin. The cuff on my neck strains against my throat, causing a gasp to draw into my lungs-the forceful lift of my head easily unblocking my airways for just a few moments. My eyes train on the figure overheard, half-lidded and hazy "Thank you.." I manage through a strangled breath. • • The world outside seemed like such a beautiful place. Months ago, (Y/n) had awoken with no memory of her past-mind assumed to be altered as a result of the genome editing attached to her files. Experiments have left her with ethereal wings, an emblem of her existence as a pawn and experiment 495. Every day was the same and she had grown used to the repeated routine-simply basking in the comfort the small window within her room provided and showcasing the landscape outside for curious (e/c) eyes. The opportunity for escape finally arises and in a panicked haze: she seizes it, fleeing the facility that held her captive for so long. A bird finally set free from the confines of the ground. Her newfound freedom takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with a formidable omnic. This imposing machine was tainted in shadows and cut out from the deafening chaos surrounding him.
