When Samantha Joseph was younger, she never expected to make it to her 18th birthday. When she was 13, she ran from her abusive father and wound up getting adopted by one of her own heroes. Tyler Joseph and his wife Jenna had taken the teenager in when she had landed in their backyard that fateful night.

Samantha's life should have gotten easier after that, but life decided to challenge her. In the five years she has been living with her new family she has endured not one but TWO kidnappings, a severe head injury from a fall, a car accident that ultimately led to the loss of her right leg, and a sexual assault by someone she trusted.

One of her biggest fears however was her adoptive parents would send her away. And now they have. But this time, it's Samantha's decision. After five years of turmoil, Samantha is going to spend her Senior Year of High School in California with two of her other favourite people in the world. Brendon and Sarah Urie.

Can Samantha have at least ONE normal-ish year?

100 parts Complete

Samantha Joseph has had a rough life and a slightly less rough, but more turbulent, past couple of years. Her life really began when she ran away from her father, to escape yet another beating, and wound up in the back yard of none other than Tyler Joseph of Twentyone Pilots, and his wife Jenna. Through a myriad of strange and terrible events, the Josephs adopted Samantha. But their fight to keep her didn't end there. A kidnapping, a near drowning, a new baby sister, a biological uncle who popped up and then a life threatening accident (or two) kept the family from knowing stability. Finally, after so many trials and tribulations, it all seems to be finished. The Josephs are a family. Legally, and forever. Samantha is thriving and growing and becoming the person her late biological father seemed to want to destroy. Is it true? Can the Josephs finally relax and be a family?
