Five eight year old children have just moved to Fort Worth Texas.  Hot shot Flamezer, Hoist Towver, Medix Redden, Whirl Windal, and Wedge Shoveler. They all recently turned eight years old too. They all love to run, jump, climb and play. They all have their own unique personalities. Each of their families are special in their own way too. They are all very healthy. However in November they start to feel unwell. On the night of November 14th they all feel so bad their families take them to Cook Children's hospital. There the kids meet and become friends. They are all checked into the hospital. They all have all kinds of tests done on them. Then a couple of days later they are all diagnosed with Anaplastic Ependymoma a type of brain tumor that is brain cancer, the most common solid tumor in children, and the most deadly childhood cancer.
