It was a normal day for our speedy blue hedgehog and his pals. Eating a chili dog, running around green hill and destroying Eggman's plans like usual. Everything was okay until suddenly, Silver came back from the future and warned everyone that something worst was coming, not just the Chaos Emerald, but the Sol Emeralds and the Master Emerald. 

Worse than Black Doom or anyone they fought before. Mephiles The Dark has return with new powers and sinister allies that could destroy what Sonic, and everyone been fighting for. 

Before they could start their search on Chaos Emeralds and fight Mephiles again, the Master Emerald glows up and spoke to them. He told them to find someone who would help them to defeat Mephiles and everything will be restored. Before they could ask, the Master Emerald glows up and teleporting the entire world of Sonic to another world. 

A mysterious yet magical world where mirrored their world but differently. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. 

Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything?

Well, all except Doctor Eggman, who's looking for the Flames of Disaster and thinks that Sonic has them. As Eggman kidnaps Sonic and questions him for information, it's down to Sonya, Tails and Knuckles to save him. (Shadow) Rogue the bat accidentally destroys a very important wand and unleashes a demon. Mephiles the Dark is out for someone's blood, but Rogue and Omega haven't a clue who Mephiles is hunting. Shadow the hedgehog does though, but he'd never live it down if he told Team Dark. It's all up to Team Dark to defend this person in secret and defeat Mephiles. (Silver) Mobius is in flames! Silver the hedgehog was born in this dystopia and, despite his friend Blaze's best efforts, they cannot fix this. However, they meet a mysterious hedgehog without a mouth who tells them that the best way to end the dystopia is to assassinate "The Iblis trigger." Will Sonya and her brother's friends be able to rescue him? How long can Shadow keep his secret? And did the Iblis trigger really cause the dystopian future Silver and Blaze know and hate? Sonic The Hedgehog: On The Run. by polld1

Second book in: Sonic Running. One child was forced to grow up way too fast, the other was never allowed to be one in the first place. A year after the Freedom Fighters disbanded, Eggman returns with a vengeance. To make matters worse, Cream and Vanilla mysteriously disappear, but they aren't the only ones. On top of that, the Commander of G.U.N seems to be losing a grasp on what really matters and Shadow discovers the military may be more connected to his past than he ever realised. Sonic's saved the world multiple times, with the help of his friends. But protecting the world from harm becomes a whole lot harder to do when the military's against you. And Knuckles knows, his best friend might just be the one they were all warned to save. Good thing Sonic's not known for being incredibly stubborn. After sixteen years, Mephiles has returned. Darker and more power hungry...after failing to defeat and kill Shadow, Sonic and the rest of the gang, he Is going to make sure he gets what he wants this time, by using the power of the chaos emeralds,He infects Shadow with a rabies like disease, called Muskiomal which makes Shadow a ruthless cannabalsitic killer at nightfall. Not only does Mephiles turn Shadow into a killer hedgehog, he forces him to take out revenge on not only on on Mobians but the entire universe as well. But only Amy Rose is aware of Shadow's illness after witnessing Shadow consuming human and Mobian remains behind a restaurant dumpster. Amy vows to keep Shadow's condition a secret not only for the safety of Sonic and the gang but for the universe...but if G.U.N finds out the ultimate life form and their top agent as dangerous... it could result in him being held captive, being detained against his will and experimented on as long as possible. Despite the life threatening situation, Shadow and Amy's connection grows closer and closer which ultimately leads to them having an affair which eventually leads them to being together, much to the disdain of not only Sonic, but to the entire group, unfortunately, it later becomes a weakness which will give Mephiles a possible one up against the team Will Amy and the rest of the crew find a cure for Shadow's condition or will he forever be Mephiles' murderous puppet? Sonic Boom: Travels (Shadora) by Nyx_Wind

Life starts out exciting for a pink hedgehog by the name of Aurora when she sets out on her own for the first time at the age of 20. The only downside to this is an extremely over-protective dad (Sonic) who constantly worries about the most ridiculous things happening to you, and the mom (Amy Rose) always pushes to set you free when it's time. Everything changes for Aurora and a black hedgehog named Shadow when they crash into each other at Shadow Canyons. Aurora is in awe that she is with her longtime fantasy crush, and so is Shadow when he sees that he finally meets her again from his last trip through time. The two hedgehogs train each other for future challenges, until the death of Amy Rose occurs. Devastated, Aurora goes out to search for the Chaos Emeralds to save all the dimensions in existence (later figuring out she has to do more), figure out more about her powers, and to find Shadow's missing ex-girlfriend. They meet a sprite, a loyal wolf, a resistance, a young bat, a twist-hearted meerkat, and twin hedgehogs that share similarities with Shadow and Aurora. Throughout the journey, they all learn the power of teamwork, making Shadow feel unsure since what happened on Space Colony ARK and the last fiasco teaming up with Eggman. Shadow and Aurora get closer throughout the mission, but will they remain strong? Will they work together to accomplish the pink hedgehog's promise to her deceased BFF and mother? Why would Shadow team up with Aurora and their "friends"? Could it be to reach destiny, or true love? Who knows what'll happen next? What would Sonic think of all of this? So many questions. It's been about one year since Sonic killed The Devil to end its genocidal rampage. Everyone began living their own respective lives, but it was not so respectful. Despite no longer afraid to be themselves it does not change how the world truly feels about them. The Freedom Fighters are nothing but hideous freaks. They know this. They are still held back by their past traumas that keep them from being able to move on and become better. Not only that, new threats and dramas keep popping out of nowhere and just make life even harder. Sure, there are no demons in the story this time, but everyone still has their inner demons. No one is free from despair. Try as they might to change things, it will prove overbearingly difficult and could tear them a part for good.

Sonic and friends unwillingly travel to another dimension and upon arrival realise that they are not able to freely show their special abilities to the public or bad things may await. They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. The characters are aged up as follows; Sonic-21, Shadow-22, Rouge-22, Knuckles-23, Amy-19, Tails-15, Silver-18, Mephiles-18, Mighty-18, Sally-16 I am open to constructive criticism, so if you notice a mistake or something that just doesn't make sense, please comment so I can fix it.
