With John's military job and the adventures of co-parenting, his days are pretty full. Of course, sparing some time to enjoy the smaller things. For example, his 5 year old daughter. A world of glitter glue and sparkling stickers take over their nights when Maddison enters into the world as a kindergartener. While John has opened himself to love, he's never truly experienced it. Join John during parent teacher conferences, awkward dinners, and as he and Simon both learn the do's and don'ts of parenthood.

"Text me when you make it home" I tell him. I give him a kiss, opening the door for him. "Can I also get a kiss for my drive to work?" he asks, I roll my eyes, giving him another. "And for all the work I'm gonna have to do" he adds on. My face changes to a disappointed look. "Simon-" I say, "I have a lot of people to deal with, and most of them are assholes" he explains. I kiss him one more time, shoving him through the door. "And one more thing" He mentions. I sigh, holding the door, "Yes?" I say. I watch as a small smile grows on his face, "I love you Johnny".

When my father left my mother and me for a better life, I was devastated and naively thought my life couldn't get any worse. How wrong I was. My new stepfather decided he was entitled to my body, and my mother became an alcoholic who did her best to ignore my existence. My only solace in life was my younger twin stepsisters and my best friend, Dane. Over time, Dane and I became more than friends; he knew my deepest, darkest secrets, and I knew his. When I turned sixteen, I couldn't stand my stepfather's abuse any longer, so I reached out to my father and begged him to take me in. Overnight I went from sleeping in a putrid-smelling, cramped trailer to living in a mansion. It was there that I met the devil himself. Disguised as my new, breath-taking stepbrother, Ryder. Ryder and his three best friends, Saint, West and Lawson turned my world upside down. At first, they possessively loved and adored me; unfortunately, that all changed the night of my junior prom, where my life went from bad to worse. The four boys I had grown to trust with my secrets and body turned on me when the queen bitch of the school shared a video with them. Now my only allies in life are Dane and a sweetheart named Matt, who is willing to take any beating my stepbrother and his friends give him to stay at my side. Life had always handed me lemons; was I strong enough to turn those bitches into lemonade? Trigger warnings: Dub/Con, Non/Con, SA, Drug use, Self harm, Murder.

I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. It all seemed so possible. I was raised to be the perfect wife, after all. From the outside, it seemed I had exactly what I dreamed of with the rich, determined husband; the brilliant, gaudy diamond ring; and the beautiful home filled with the hope of future children. Yes, it was all a dream come true. I should have felt grateful, really. The problem is, I also wanted a marriage based on love, passion, and affection, but those are the only things my husband cannot give me . . . . . . because they're reserved for her. For readers: * I do my best to proofread before publishing, but some typos and errors will slip through. Feel free to point them out! * Comments, active engagement, and helpful critiques are welcomed. * Mean, unnecessary comments that attack me, personally, or other commenters will be ignored and deleted. It takes a lot of courage to publish your work and for others to actively engage in a community. I'd like to keep this a safe and fun place to rage at imperfect heroes and cheer for darling heroines! * I'm not a spicy writer. I rather use my word count for plot, character development, and GROVEL!!! * Most importantly, I hope you enjoy the little world I'm creating. Happy reading, everyone! ADS/Imaginationgirl35
