The Roar of the Elders isn't the only 'Roar' out there. In fact, there are more. The Roar of Life controls the earth while the Roar of the Elders controls the sky. The Roar of Life can control life itself, creating plants from wastelands, bringing water even in the deserts, and curing all the sick and wounded. 

Kaia, a young lioness, had inherited the Roar of Life from her master 'The Healer' and with it the power to heal others.

When Kion receives a message from the Pridelands stating that Kovu has a serious illness that could kill him and that Kiara is currently depressed by this, Kion and the Lion Guard leave the Tree of Life to find a cure.  When Simba tells them about a legendary healer that could heal even a lion on the brink of death, Kion and the Lion Guard set out for this legendary healer. But when this healer turns out to be none other than Kaia, it brings back many memories Kion thought he had forgotten.

For those who don't know what The Lion Guard is, it's a sequel to the movie The Lion King. The Lion Guard is the group that protects The Circle Of Life. The tradition is that the guard has the bravest, fastest, strongest, fiercest and the keenest of sight of all and is made up of lions, but that is about to change. Kion is the second cub of Simba and Nala and was given The Roar Of Elders. What makes this roar so amazing? Well, when you use it the great kings of the past are roaring with the one who possessed this power, being able to throw animals in the air, move huge rocks and other things. Now coming back to Kion, because he got this power he became the leader of the Lion Guard, only that he did not respect the tradition of the members of the guard, having Bunga, a honey badger, as the bravest, Fuli, a cheetah as the fastest, Beshte, a hippopotamus as the strongest and Ono, an egret as the keenest of sight. Later, as you can see in the book, Anga appears, a martial hawk, who will later become the keenest of sight in Ono's place, and he is the smartest in the guard (normally the guard has 5 members and now it has 6, Kion didn't respect the tradition again). They defended the Circle Of Life very well, having Scar as an enemy, yes, you heard it right, but not in the form you think of, but it was made from the flames of a volcano in Outlands.The Lion Guard and the Pridelands had a final battle with him, eventually winning, but it cost him Ono's sight and Kion got a scar that looks like Scar's.Did Kion and Ono manage to heal ?What does the future hold for everyone?You will soon see

The Guard goes on a journey to find the remedy, but while they are out there a teammate is the most worried about Kion out of them all: Fuli. She knew him as a cub and thinking about him getting taken away like that, it makes her sad and it doesn't help with the feelings she has for him. She tries to focus on the task ahead but she keeps thinking about their leader and wants to get back before it's too late. But what happens when they meet trouble along the way?
