The Chesapeake Ripper has been killing all his life. He has had as many names as the wind: Il Mostro de Firenze, the Impersonator, the Butcher. But he grew up to be Hannibal. 

Now his crimes are on the FBI's table. Hannibal, driven by curiosity, has lured Agent Will Graham to him, after all he has read about Will in Tattle Crime. Empathy to the max, intelligent, privileged mind.

He wants to get to know Will and shape his mind and body. And he will do everything in his power to make him his.
