Grace Winters and her son, Abel, run into a group that had just fled from the Greene family farm. The mother and son had been separated from her husband, Jacob and had been searching for him since.

However, the longer they search, the more they lose hope in finding him and reuniting. Along the way, Abel grows a special bond with a certain blue eyed boy wearing a sheriff's hat.

You met Maggie Greene at NYU: you were studying fine arts, she was studying agricultural sciences. She was finishing up undergrad while you were finishing your masters. Maggie being from the South and you being from the North, your world views were vastly different; that's probably why you clicked so well. You both graduated in May, the world fell in August. You had no one, and so you drove as far and fast as you could, knowing if there was anyone you could turn to, it was Maggie. While on the Greene Family Farm, you meet ex-sheriffs deputy Rick Grimes, aiding in saving his son's life. He couldn't thank you enough. There's a pang in your chest, as you learn a lesson on patience- the fact that good things take time. ~I DO NOT CLAIM TO OWN TWD OR ANY OF ITS CHARACTERS~
