'I followed a dream that wasn't mine but it was worth it'

This is a short story about a Japanese young adult man who climbed Mount Everest.
This short story was inspired by the manga 'Climber' or 'Kono no Hito.' Before I wrote this short story I had never read the manga so I don't know if some things that were mentioned are similar to the original story. But I do know it is all about climbing.

A hero's tunnel vision

3 parts Ongoing Mature

Life can be quite difficult, no matter who you are. Be it a high school student who sucks at making friends, a pro hero that can't express their feelings to save their own life, or a selfish man who just wants to do what is best for the people he cares about. This story is about them. This story is about the people around them. A story about choices and how they eventually affect the people around you. For the good or the bad? That's for them to figure out. This is the story of how they lost everything.
