"You must be drunk!" Jackie snapped at Bruce, her entire face was red from annoyance and she grabbed her purse, wanting to leave the apartment. This wasn't what she was here for. But Bruce, in his drunken state held her hand and despite Jackie's attempt to release it, he wouldn't let go. She struggled against him but it was fruitless.

      "Let go of my hand this instant, Bruce...I will...BRUCE!" Jackie yelled when she felt her body lifted off the ground, Landon on Bruce's shoulder instead. Her eyes widened - many thoughts started running through her mind. What was he about to do? Wait, no, this wasn't the plan. It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Goddamn it! She wasn't fucking ready yet! She tried moving her legs but Bruce was fast enough to prevent that movement by holding the legs with his two hands.

Jackie didn't know how strong he was until tonight.

He threw her on his bed and stared at her pale face. Jackie felt even more disgusted that she was on his bed that she believed innumerable sex activities had happened. Bruce climbed on the bed and she shifted back with fear.

    "Bruce, come back to your senses. This is wrong. It's against the law. Rape is bad. Don't do it."

But it seemed like whatever Jackie was saying was falling on deaf ears because Bruce was so gone into his feelings.

====
Jackie, a hardworking woman, smart and in her late twenties, has a few principles and this includes hating the act of womanizing. Most of the men that she has met are into one form of cheating, flirting or open relationship like they said which is clearly not her goal. She finally gives up on getting a partner.

But then she mets the most annoying yet tempting man ever. How will she go about it? Find out.

✅ Complete ✅ When Campbell Kramer accepted a job offer in Manhattan, she never could've imagined what the city had in store for her. Namely, two handsome men who live on either side of her new apartment. One is older, one is younger. One is introverted, one is extroverted. One is serious, one is playful. Both of them want her attention. What could go wrong? ☲☲☲☲☲ ☆Brooks☆ My neighbor was the one to close the distance between us. She did it quickly -- like she was scared the moment would pass away forever if she let another millisecond go by -- and I rested my hand on the side of her face to steady her. Something about my touch must have given her courage. ♡Campbell♡ The men finally greeted each other while I snipped the green, woody stems and plopped them into the tallest mug I owned. Their sentences were short and awkward, and as I rearranged the blooms for the umpteenth time, the realization that they'd told each other what happened hit me like a south-bound train. I don't know why I didn't expect that. They were best friends, after all. I was just their new neighbor. They had no loyalty to me, no reason to keep our time together a secret. ☆Luca☆ Her lips met mine slowly, softly, hesitantly -- like she wasn't so sure kissing her neighbor was the best idea -- and I responded just as delicately. But when her hand made its way into the back of my hair, our bodies melded together like a lust-struck alloy. And the only hope of separating us was to add more heat. ☲☲☲☲☲ Featured by: 📙 @Wattpad • Spicy Summer Reads (July 2024) • Endless Reading Mode 🧡 (Jan 2024) • Summer in the City 🥵 (June 2023) 📕 @Romance • New Adult (June 2024) • Love Triangle (April 2025) 📘 @Ambassadors • Hot Encounters (Dec 2024) Awards: 🥈 Romance runner-up (The Prime Awards 2023)

Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint. "Why?" She asked this unarmed woman without knowing why she hated him so much. She never did anything to hurt him. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" "Well, because she's an A-class bitch." He replied, casually, like calling random girls a bitch was nothing too unusual. Cass gasped. "How can you say that? Do you have any idea what she does to guys who call her a bitch, wait no, didn't you also do that to the guy who called you ugly?" "Well, in the restaurant she was screaming at the both of us actually, thereby creating a scene, which doesn't exactly give a good person vibe off her. And the answer to your second question will be: I'd like to see her try." He explained, looking at me with a look of pure disgust. "Shut up." I yelled, loud enough for him to hear. Who did this guy think he was? I paid for his, Okay, their fucking dinner at eleven P.M. The least he could do was be polite to me or just shut up entirely. "And if I choose not to?" He questioned, looking amused. He's as good as dead then. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* Jessica Walkers was just your everyday counsellor, nothing out of the blue. Her past...let's just not go into that.
