And of course legends of mobians with the ability to hypnotize sailors with their melody, and are known as predators of the sea.
Sirens.
Most of them are believed to be legends however.
The most well known and feared Captain of the seas, Shadow Black Doom, doesn't believe in them.
That is until he rescues one.
Then it rescues him, and now Shadow has a siren amongst his crew.
The siren requires help with something threatening their entire existence as they know it, and so the captain has no choice but to help the emerald eyed siren.

Having come from Mobius, a once thought-to-be fictional world in which all of the Classic "Sonic The Hedgehog" characters live, a new super-powered, female Hedgehog arrives on Earth, looking to run away as she was being tracked down by echidna warriors. She soon finds herself hiding amongst the forests of what she later learns is "Green Hills" Montana before being spotted by another Hedgehog. As well as his family consisting of a two-tailed fox, echidna and two humans. Tom and Maddie.
