So, they both go back to their hometown, Maplebirch to attend the funeral, just to find out that the police think that it was a suicide. But it doesn't fit because Rosalind was the perfect human being. She was selfless, happy, helping and loving. She would never think of hurting herself, let alone killing. After the case is closed, Rosalind's posse is all distressed. They decided to meet at a restaurant to talk and when they order their bill, they also get a note which says that Rosalind was in fact murdered and the person who wrote it knows who killed Rosalind. All they have to do is follow the clues and obey the rules and it would lead them straight to the killer. Well, it is because when the funny one dies, everything is real. The light, happy mood they create when they are alive makes everything nice and relaxed, so when they die, it sets the dark mood of dread and fear. This isn't you basic "horror" story where the characters want to split up and the minority dies. No, this is far from that. Sure there may be some funny moments and some funny characters but this time, there's a twist. This time, you already know who the killer is.
