Once upon a time...
In a faraway land, long, long ago, a kingdom of mushrooms was saved from the dark forces of an evil king of monsters by a young, beautiful, and kind enchanted princess. But soon, centuries later, that very same princess will have to rise up to fight back that very same diabolical ruler and his dark forces of minions and magic once again.
And this is her story...

What Willow thought would never happen is when she takes a short break from her anthropomorphic alien friends in the middle of her summer with her family to spend a few days in New York City.

After running into a certain duo of Italian plumbing brothers, she goes on the journey of a lifetime to an all-new world that is in need of her help from being conquered by a giant reptilian king, who for some strange reason has taken interest in her and her newfound powers.

What more potential could Willow possibly possess?

Along with their friends, they will work to know what this power is and help Kate figure out what it is. But what exactly is the Power of Dreams, and why is there nothing learned about it? Why has no one possessed it before? Could it be tied to what Kate has forgotten about herself? This is the next chapter of the tale of Mario, Sonic, and Kate. This is the second part of the Tale of the Three Heroes.

But it seems that there was another reason why Kate had to understand her powers. A reason why she forgot her past and why she has her powers. A reason why she was brought to Mario and Sonic's world. A reason that endangered her, and has now put Mario, Sonic, and their friends into danger as well. And it's not like Bowser, Eggman, or any of their schemes. This threat is difficult to identify, when the only clues lie in nightmares that Kate is having. This is the point of discovery in the tale of Mario, Sonic, and Kate. This is the dark twist in the Tale of the Tale of the Three Heroes.
