The carriage stops at Bridgerton house with Colin and Penelope quite flustered. He invites her in with an exclamation of an intent to marry. But what if Francesca hadn't left early and no one had been home? What if everyone had just gone to bed? What if they found themselves alone in a dark and quiet house? What if they temporarily lost all sense of propriety? P.S. I finished watching pt 1 of season 3 for about the 8th time. Yes. I am guessing. It may have been more. I stared at the ceiling for a while, and this scene poured into my brain. I wrote it down to share with friends; but no one I associate with watches Bridgerton (side eye), so I hoped I'd find my Bridgerton peeps here! Love you! P.S.S Although I started writing more than 20 years ago, it has been almost a decade since I really fleshed out a story, so thanks for reading and supporting my tentative step back into it. I hope to continue writing again on my own projects, as this little exercise has awakened my writer's soul. P.S.S.S Obviously, Shondaland, Netflix, Julia Quin, and all those involved own all rights to the characters and world - I don't claim anything in this blurb about Bridgerton.
