While dealing with these challenges, Snowflake discovers a strange rock after following a streak of light deep within the tundra. Upon touching the rock, his claws fill with power unlike any other. A week after the incident, an elderly nightwing meets him at the edge of the icewing border to deliver a special message: Behold the power of the stars Beware, for you may bear invisible scars Your talons of ice Will no longer be used to slice But this new power you possess May leave you in distress Cease your strife And become a dragon of life Else, you will be a dragon of death Heed my warning till' your final breath
