Performing a duet together was only the beginning of something more in Jake and Hailey's relationship. Hailey has been hopeful since the competition, but Jake still seems to have his heart set on Daisy... Will some conflicting feelings about his best friend get in the way?

This is what I consider to be the ultimate scenario for Jailey in season two of tmf :) as we won't be getting FED by Rosy for like another year, I figure why not write it?

Please take note that I honestly could abandon this at any moment 😭 I aim to finish this fic, but it's still a risk because of my unpredictable motivation and stress levels so please be kind! I'm giving a posting schedule a go for the first time in years :)

Chapters 1-4 are on average 2000 words (with a couple outliers). Chapters 5 and onwards are approximately 5000 words each.
