"What the hell are you doing here?" he pressed out with a strained voice. Olivia couldn't remember hearing him sound like this, ever. Cassandra, the smile melting off her face, stepped back again and straightened her back.
"I represent Dylan Cooper."
Rafael's lips twitched and Olivia grew more and more confused by the second.
"You don't practice in New York," Rafael argued, his expression growing from whatever shock he had lived through to...angry? Yes, Olivia decided, questionably, snippily, angry. Highly unlike Rafael Barba angry.

A case with almost no evidence, an ex-girlfriend he hadn't seen in ten years, and the overwhelming feeling the universe was out to get him. Will he be able to solve the case and save his heart, or will the old pain destroy him?

The Lustful Sound (Book 4)

28 parts Ongoing Mature

One phone call. That's all it took to change Francesca "Frankie" Milton's life. She thought she was yelling at her ex, but the moment she heard that deep husky voice on the other end of the line, she knew she had made a big mistake. It wasn't her ex-fiancé's voice. Luckily for her, the man who answered her phone was intrigued by her raw anger and didn't take it personally. Even luckier, he wanted to get to know her a little more. She knew that these phone calls and texts with Luke were just a fling, a way to rebuild her trust in men, and what better way than to talk freely with a stranger from who knows where? That was until one fateful day when he was no longer a stranger and she found herself wondering what was the better choice: giving Luke a chance or trying to forget about him and move on with her life. The problem with those options was that Luke only preferred one of them and was willing to go to great lengths to convince her to choose the right one. He just needed some face to face time to do it. Will she let him? ***New chapters will be delayed for a while.
