Fae Lume and The Twist in Fate or Al Potter & The Witch Thief

What if the story of the cursed child did not exist? What if in another time Harry Potter did not kill the Dark Lord as believed?
And what if neither Harry nor Al were the heroes of the story? Or at least what if Al was not the only hero of this next story?

Fae:
Since the return of the Dark Lord five years before, Fae Lume a half-blood witch has turned to thievery to survive. With the Order of the Phoenix forced into hiding and The Boy Who Lived missing, the only way to get by in this broken world is to lie, cheat and steal from whichever fool she can find. When her latest endeavour allows her to get her hands on an item others will kill for, she sets off a chain of events that puts her in the middle of what could be the next Wizarding War. But with the fate of the world in her hands, Fae sees only an opportunity to get back something that was stolen from her long ago. With the help of an unwilling hero at her side, with an agenda of his own, can she succeed?

Al:
Caught up in the midst of a rebellion, Al Potter has never had the same chances his father had to stand out from his peers - and he's okay with that.
Yet haunted by the hole his father left behind, all he wants is to know why the Boy Who Lived could not live with his family? Why did the hero of the Wizarding World vanish right when the whole world went to hell?
With the unexpected arrival of a girl, who can't seem to help but rile him up at every chance, comes perhaps the opportunity Al has been waiting for.
To uncover the truth, Al would risk it all to do that which seems impossible- but will he survive such a task, with a girl no one is sure can be trusted?

With the fates of those they love in their hands can Al & Fae work together? Or will their seperate goals drive them apart?
