In this story Lucy had a kid from when she was nineteen, and has an abusive boyfriend. She struggles a lot with leaving. "Tim: Lucy! Lucy: why do you even care?!? I'm just some rookie who went through some things! Tim: very bad things, that you haven't had therapy for! Lucy: so you think I'm not stable or something? Tim: that is not what I said! Just try and listen to me Lucy: i have been trying, but everything you say just makes it worse! Tim: I'm sorry Lucy, I'm trying! Lucy: trying for what?!? Why do you care so much about what I do?!? Tim: because Lucy! Lucy: because what?!??" I do not own The Rookie or any of the characters in this franchise! Except for the character Mark and Daisy, those are my original characters.

This is a story about if the group went on a vacation together to the Maldives. Lucy and Tim are both single. What will happen next?

This is what I imagine (want) to happen straight after season 6 ended (Aaron is still in the story despite him having confirmed he won't be in season 7), focus on Chenford, slow burn. The Oscar/Jason storyline is incorporated from season 6 but not Monica. Lucy sets out to prove herself again as a good cop after her disaster with the detective's exam. Will the awkwardness between Chenford be resolved? Or will it all come to a head? Disclaimer - I have stayed true to each character's mannerisms in the show, so if you're looking for a story where Tim calls Lucy his pookie princess and is overly gushy, you won't find that here. I have remained as realistic as I can with each character's actions, behaviours and words.
