When the children and the teenagers from a fantastical Roseland-Sota towns are kidnapped by shape-shifting foxes who have been driven away from their homes, A little girl with her friend and the group must find a way to escape -- and bring peace to these rival worlds.

The foxes of Chiswick are fed up with human expansion into their woods, so with the aid of a mysterious magic, they're replacing all the town's children and teenagers with fox-impersonators.

 Their plan is far more devious than mere impersonation. They're replacing all the teenagers and kids with more-polite, more-helpful, all-around-better-behaved versions. And the town's newly blissful parents aren't questioning a thing.
