Yuri Machida is the Blood Hashira that has been kept in secret by Master Oyakata-sama in the secondary Swordsmith village. The other Hashira don't know about her except Kyojuro Rengoku who is in fact her fiancé. What makes her unique besides her unique skills is that she is born half human-half demon.

She must make herself known to the other Hashira that she is there to help them when they need her but that requires much trust that she needs to earn. Yet it's easy for some to take a liking to her. Nezuko especially. Sanemi on the other hand? It's complicated.
