After the events of Shitaro, the cities of Ninjago have split up into kingdoms to provide peace and harmony. The years have gone in a flight and the infamous ninja weren't needed anymore, causing them to go their own ways eventually.
Some went to do their thing, some stayed at the monastery in case to protect Ninjago.
So does Lloyd. Now hes alone with only Kai on his side as they try to hold the monastery in place.

Someday, Lloyd got an anonymous invatation. To cover up the incoming danger, he has to reunite the former ninja in order to face the new threat.

But not everthing is going to plan, as the ninja have to find their strength as team again. Not only them, as Lloyd has to face his emotions when he meets an old friend.

Will Lloyd find the other ninja? Are they willing to help him after all the years and find their strength as a team again? What is this invatation and who sent it?
