Earth was caught in an unfortunate accident as many worlds from different beyond begin to be placed around the world. Dante and Vergil returned from the Underworld, along with the amnesic demon puppeted by Mundus, Damien. In the town of Kuoh, they cross paths with another Devil Hunter who shared the same Devil Bringer like Nero before, discovering the estranged daughter of Dante, Lucille. 

Nero, Trish, Lady, and Nico, along with other allies have journeyed from Red Grave to Japan, reuniting with the others as they prepare themselves for another stylish mission.
