Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris have been inseparable since their McLaren days together. Carlos discovers feelings for Lando that go beyond friendship yet finds himself unsure of how to express them without jeopardizing their close relationship.

While they're hanging out with the Charles and Pierre, Lando makes a humorous yet cutting comment about Carlos's performance, joking that he's always in his shadow and can never quite catch up. Lando's words are meant to be light-hearted, but Carlos takes it to heart, feeling painfully exposed and disheartened.

Devastated, Carlos tries to brush off his feelings, but the comment lingers, amplifying his internal struggle.
