Amidst the very beginning of a new era of kaiju, a young individual from the Land of Light left his home to explore the galaxy and soon arrive on Earth, where he merges with a wandering youth of Japan by the name of Kotaro Higashi. And with the defense force known as ZAT, Ultraman Taro rises to protect Earth from kaiju threats and beings beyond Earth. Go, Young Warrior!
