Minatozaki Sana has lost the last remaining link to finding out what happened to her father. She killed Tzuyu's father, the leader of the Korean Mafia, and she's now on the run.

Chou Tzuyu is now working for her brother, Mark, who's still grieving for his father's death. He has just started ruling Minjun's empire of crime but he has only asked one thing from his sister.

"Bring me Minatozaki Sana."

They were not supposed to meet again. But, because some things are just meant to be, when Sana runs away in her hometown in Japan, she and Tzuyu cross paths again. And when the Japanese find out about their being there, they wish to capture both of them.

Secrets about Sana's father come to the surface, the balance between hunted and hunter shifts, sparks reignite and the two have to rely on each other's skills if they hope to make it back.

Before the Japanese kill them both.

Her smile is soft, but it's there. She doesn't even try to hide it. "Darling," she starts, her voice wrapping around me like a warm blanket. Her hand reaches up, fingers brushing away a few strands of my hair before she rests it over my cheek. "You're my proof of a paradise."
