Chou Tzuyu is now working for her brother, Mark, who's still grieving for his father's death. He has just started ruling Minjun's empire of crime but he has only asked one thing from his sister.
"Bring me Minatozaki Sana."
They were not supposed to meet again. But, because some things are just meant to be, when Sana runs away in her hometown in Japan, she and Tzuyu cross paths again. And when the Japanese find out about their being there, they wish to capture both of them.
Secrets about Sana's father come to the surface, the balance between hunted and hunter shifts, sparks reignite and the two have to rely on each other's skills if they hope to make it back.
Before the Japanese kill them both.
Or the feelings they're both fighting get in the way.

"I want to believe there is some place where I'm not that much of a monster. Some place that feels like home." She looks at me still when she says that last word.
Home.
Do I feel like home to her? Does she feel like home to me?
"And..." I look up at her, swallowing. "You think I could lead there? Home?"
Her smile is soft, but it's there. She doesn't even try to hide it. "Darling," she starts, her voice wrapping around me like a warm blanket. Her hand reaches up, fingers brushing away a few strands of my hair before she rests it over my cheek. "You're my proof of a paradise."

Chou Tzuyu, born into one of the prominent crime families in Taiwan, is known as the princess of the mafia due to her striking physical attractiveness. However, what many see as a blessing soon becomes her downfall when she is forced to marry Jeon Jungkook in order to establish peace between two rival mafia dynasties. Jungkook, the prospective head of the Jeon Cartel within the South Korean Familia, is notorious for his brutal nature, including the infamous act of strangling his cousin with his bare hands.
Tzuyu is filled with terror at the thought of marrying such a monster. Although he is one of the most desirable bachelors in South Korea, thanks to his good looks, wealth, and charming yet predatory demeanor, Tzuyu recognizes that Jungkook's bad-boy persona is not just an act. Behind Jungkook's captivating dark brown eyes and arrogant smile lies a history of bloodshed and death.
In her world, a beautiful exterior often hides a dangerous monster-one capable of both killing and kissing with equal ease.
However, escaping from an arranged marriage, especially to a man like Jungkook, feels impossible. He would chase her to the ends of the earth.
Tzuyu's only hope to survive her marriage with Jungkook is to win his affection and gradually find her way into his heart, despite rumors suggesting that Jungkook has no heart at all.
A beautiful mafia princess is given to a monstrous man. Even monsters have hearts.
She fully intends to find her place within it.
